The weather is beautiful, Taylor had a blast searching for Easter Eggs at the Ronald McDonald House, and the babies are looking great!

Carmen gave us a reason for concern the past couple of days. Starting about Wednesday she started to not digest her food. It is typical for a baby to not digest all that they have been given, but Carmen was not digesting at all. Her stomach appeared to be solid and She was cranky. She was not wanting anyone to touch her and just did not appear to be herself. We thought that this may have been the complications of her not getting enough nutrition while in the womb. There were several x-rays taken looking for a bowel obstruction, but those all came back negative.

The doctors went ahead and stopped her feedings. Thursday was just one of those days as we waited for news on tests and the hear the next step for the Doctors to take. One nurse said what I thought was the best explanation, Carmen was missing her daddy. With tests coming back negative by late Thursday night the doctors observed Carmen sucking on her binky showing sign of being hungry. They went ahead and started her milk again minus the extra nutrients. Thus far she has been doing great once again. While talking to a Doctor this morning they thought that they would wait until tomorrow to start the vitamins and extra nutrients.

I was able to bath Ayden and Carmen today. Both appeared to enjoy their baths and it proved to be a good time for all three of us. Breagan will have a bath this afternoon so we will see how that goes.

The Doctor this morning was not sure about Ayden's hernia and when he would have surgery for it. The Doctor's must be in agreement but they are thinking about possibly discharging Ayden and then have him come back for an outpatient type of surgery. They originally talked about doing the surgery before he left. Either way, we have time and time is on our side.

What better weekend to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior than this? The weather is no better example of the true light of Christ. Hopefully the sun is shining for you today as much as it is for us!
