Another week down!! Congratulations to Melissa on yet another mile stone, here we are at the beginning of week number 29!

We had the great opportunity of seeing the babies once again and check on their progress. The boys continue to grow and are currently at 2 lbs. 12 oz. and 2 lbs. 10 oz. Baby "C' continues to grow at a slower pace and is currently at 1 lbs. 12 oz. Our great joy today was hearing that Baby "C" doubled her weight gain compared to the previous two week period. Her 6 oz. gain was one of her biggest gains thus far. The blood flow through the umbelical artery still shows a deficiency but appears to stay constant.

We were able to get some great profile shots of all three babies. Baby "C" even appears in one picture to be smiling as you can you see her lips part and open. We were quite excited to see Baby "C" practicing her breathing as it made it difficult for a few minutes to get a couple of the measurements. Baby "C" for the most part measures about 3 weeks behind her brothers. Her Cerebelum measures the same as the boys so she will be as intellectual as the boys, just in a smaller package.

We had quite the discussion with the Doctor today about when we will start to actively pursue the monitoring of Baby "C." At this point we have not decided as to exactly when Melissa will have the babies. We have come to the conclusion that with the weight gain of Baby "C" we will hold off for another two weeks. In two weeks Melissa will visit the Doctor for another appointment and then start the continual monitoring of the babies. At this time I believe that Melissa will visit the Doctor one to two times a week and they will monitor the babies and heartbeats. This allow us to determine the right time, if all goes well, to have the babies. It is still possible that Melissa could carry the babies right up to week 35. It could also change overnight. We are obviously not in complete control over these babies and they could definitely change our plans.

Things are looking very positive and upbeat. We are staying optimistic and enjoying our time together on the weekends. We know that things are only going as well as they are because of all the positive thoughts and prayers from you. Thank you very much for your thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement.

Well it just goes to show how much GIRLS RULE!!! And how strong we are. I think that is why she lies in the middle also, so she can fend for herself against her brothers when they are getting a little too pushy! Glad to hear all is going so well.

So you know, I've assisted mom and dad by printing out your update (dad & computers, we all know how that goes... LOL) We are so glad to hear things are going so well. I agree with Mecale, Baby C will probably be the fiesty one!

We went through similar circumstances with twins 30 years ago, and as I mentioned to Scott you all are in our thoughts and prayers. (By the way, the twin in distress in our case is the most vocal!) In many ways we wish you the very best.
